Brazilian wax
ALL hair is taken off from bikini top and sides (including treasure trail). All hair is removed from the labia area through to the top of your bottom and any bunny tails! If you want a modified Brazilian with a strip or triangle left on top you will have to request this or else it all comes off. Available for women only.
Vacation | Wedding
It’s suggested you make your appointment as close to the date as possible. You may come in couple days before, the closer you are to your date the longer your wax will last!
We recommend coming in for a “test” wax if it’s your very first time before you leave for vacation or for your wedding. This will allow you to see how your skin reacts and you will have longer results.
In a nutshell schedule at least 2 Brazilian appointments before your date 4 weeks apart and at least 2-3 days before your date.
When you get waxed, it is very important that you let the waxed area breathe, and refrain from physical activity. It is normal to experience some redness and swelling for the first 24 hours afterwards. Any side effects should be subdued by the time your vacation or wedding rolls around.
Wax tip
- Let it grow out! If you have been shaving allow A MINIMUM of 2 weeks or 1/4 inch of hair growth (length of a grain of rice) in order to achieve the best waxing results. Anything less then those hairs may not come out and is NOT your technician’s fault.
- Exfoliate before your appointment. Exfoliation ensures that you get rid of any dead cells on your skin, so the wax can be most effective. You are at higher risk of ingrown hairs if you don’t exfoliate before waxing. Exfoliate daily every day for the week leading up to your appointment.
- Client must trim the area prior to appointment if hairs longer than quarter of an inch. We suggest a scissors. We do not do any trimming here and if too long we may have to stop service if wax starts to get stuck.
- Take an ibuprofen before your waxing service. If you have concerns about discomfort during your waxing appointment, taking an ibuprofen about thirty minutes beforehand can be very helpful.
- It’s recommended to not shave between waxes. If you find that you have a few errant hairs here and there (which is normal the first time you get waxed), do not shave them off. You can pluck them!
How long does it take
Ladies if your Brazilians are taking longer than 15 MINUTES that is way too long!
What do I need to know
Come freshly showered and clean if you are menstruating or close to your menstrual cycle it is suggested that you take Tylenol 20 minutes before treatment. Please have a “new tampon’ in. We still service during this time, if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment 50% of your service total will be charged.
Maintenance
3-4 weeks should be your second appointment and continued maintenance is 4-6 weeks.
Does it hurt
Listen girls, the truth hurts. Of course ripping hair out of follicles isn’t going to be a comfortable experience. However, in the hands of an experienced esthetician the process involves only minor discomfort and is very quick. We have extensive experience with hair removal, especially with the Brazilian.

Pregnant
Yes. However, please clear this with your doctor. Just like waxing when you are menstruating, being pregnant will leave you more sensitive during and after your wax. Some encourage you to wait until you are in your second trimester to wax.

BEYOND BIKINI: Going 2 inches inside the panty line area and around inner thigh. We can include 1-2 inches off the top.
BIKINI: Taking outside the panty line area and outside the panty line area around the inner thigh. We only go 2 inches from the panty line. This is just the simple basics.

Aftercare
It is strongly encouraged that after a hair removal service you use Finipil for at least the first couple of showers post treatment for protection. You can use Finipil daily to delay hair growth. Client can tan immediately after treatment if Finipil is applied. Client is also encouraged daily to use a salt body scrub to exfoliate to prevent ingrowns. Aftercare products suggested are available for purchase.
