“After one treatment I immediately saw the benefits. In particular, the pores on my cheeks are visibly reduced. Equally important, the fresh, brighter condition of my skin has been noticed by friends and colleagues. I witnessed the magic and I’m hooked!” – CV
What is microneedling
Don’t let the word “needle” frighten you. This is minimally invasive. Works by triggering the skin’s own repair mechanisms. Small channels are created in the skin to stimulate growth factors and the production of collagen and elastin—the natural anti-aging proteins that exist in our skin. A truly addictive treatment!
Microneedling is a method that PROFESSIONALS use to treat different skin conditions. The technique involves using multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma. This trauma prompts the derma, a deeper layer of skin, to rebuild.
Microneedling may help address many skin-related complaints, including:
- wrinkles
- scarring
- acne
- alopecia
- skin pigmentation issues
- stretch marks
- rosacea
How does microneedling work
Micro-needling increases the production of collagen and other healing factors by causing trauma to the skin. Collagen is an essential protein that helps keep the skin looking youthful, with a firm, smooth, and stretchy texture. Aging causes the decline of collagen in the skin, contributing to wrinkles and other signs of aging. Skin can also lose collagen due to injuries, such as acne scarring, stretch marks, or other scars.
How many microneedling treatments will I need
Benefits of the Microneedling can be seen after just one treatment. It is recommended that you 3 to 6 treatments, space out between 3 to 4 weeks are performed for the maximum results. In cases where a more aggressive treatment schedule is needed such as scar revision, a greater number of treatments may be necessary for maximum results. Your skin care specialist will consult with you and prepare a package and regime specifically for your skin type and concern.
INFINIQUE offers single sessions with a punch card.
