RosaceaRX is a gentle, low-inflammatory skin treatment designed specifically for rosacea-prone, inflamed, sensitive, and barrier-damaged skin. This RX protocol focuses on calming inflammation, repairing cellular damage, restoring hydration, and strengthening the epidermal barrier without triggering flare-ups.
RosaceaRX utilizes an 8% PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) repair solution, delivered at very light depths to support DNA repair and skin regeneration while maintaining vascular stability. This treatment is ideal for clients who cannot tolerate aggressive exfoliation, heat, or stimulation.

Our technique
RosaceaRX is a specialized RX protocol and does not include dermaplaning, steam, or numbing. These steps are intentionally avoided to prevent vasodilation and flare responses.
The treatment is performed using a low-inflammatory, barrier-protective approach.
• Gentle cleanse using Epicutis Cleanser mixed with Epicutis Enzyme
• Skin prepped with alcohol-free sanitizer
• 8% PDRN Repair Solution infused using gentle microchanneling at approximately 0.20–0.30 mm
• Minimal passes and controlled technique to reduce stimulation
• Calming, barrier-supportive finishing products applied
This approach allows DNA repair and hydration to occur without triggering redness or irritation.
What to expect
• Treatment time: approximately 60 minutes
• Mild pinkness may occur and typically resolves within hours
• No peeling or aggressive downtime

Aftercare
Following RosaceaRX, proper aftercare supports optimal calming and repair:
• Do not touch, rub, or pick at the treated area for 48 hours
• Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours
• Use only Epicutis gentle cleanser and barrier-repair products recommended by your provider
• Avoid active skincare (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, Vitamin C) for 7 days
• Avoid heat, saunas, hot tubs, and strenuous exercise for 48 hours
• Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds; apply medical-grade SPF daily
• Avoid waxing, chemical peels, or laser treatments in the treated area for 2 weeks
Contraindications
RosaceaRX may not be suitable for clients who:
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have active skin infections or open lesions
• Are experiencing an acute rosacea flare with pustules
• Have uncontrolled autoimmune or inflammatory skin conditions
• Are currently undergoing chemotherapy or immunosuppressive therapy
• Have active herpes simplex lesions in the treatment area
