Capillary Reduction
Precision High-Frequency Treatment for Broken Capillaries & Cherry Angiomas
Capillary Reduction is a specialized High-Frequency (HF) treatment designed to safely reduce the appearance of small, visible surface blood vessels, including broken capillaries (telangiectasia) and cherry angiomas.
Using controlled High-Frequency energy, this non-invasive treatment precisely targets unwanted superficial vessels without piercing the skin, helping restore a clearer, more even complexion with little to no downtime.
What is Capillary Reduction
Capillary Reduction uses a precision High-Frequency probe that gently touches the skin’s surface to deliver controlled thermal energy directly to unwanted blood vessels.
The heat causes the tiny vessel to coagulate and collapse, allowing the body to gradually reabsorb it over time while leaving the surrounding tissue largely unaffected.
Each vessel is treated individually, making this an excellent option for isolated capillaries as well as multiple visible facial vessels.
What can be treated
Capillary Reduction may improve the appearance of:
• Broken facial capillaries
• Telangiectasia
• Cherry angiomas
• Small spider capillaries
• Red vascular lesions
• Individual facial blood vessels
• Small superficial leg capillaries*
*For leg treatments, please wear shorts to your appointment.
What cannot be treated
Capillary Reduction is designed for small, superficial red capillaries and cherry angiomas.
It is not intended for:
• Large blue or purple veins
• Bulging varicose veins
• Deep reticular veins
• Veins requiring medical evaluation or vascular treatment
During your consultation, we’ll determine whether your concerns are appropriate for Capillary Reduction or whether another treatment option or medical referral would be more appropriate.

• Allow any small scabs to fall off naturally.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the treatment pierce the skin?
No. The fine High-Frequency probe gently touches the surface of the skin while delivering controlled thermal energy. The skin is not pierced.
Will the capillaries disappear immediately?
Some vessels disappear immediately, while others gradually fade as your body naturally clears the treated vessel over the following weeks.
Will I need more than one treatment?
Some capillaries respond after a single treatment, while others—especially larger or more stubborn vessels—may require additional sessions.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. Mild redness, slight swelling, or tiny scabs may occur and are a normal part of the healing process.
What’s the difference between Capillary Reduction and Rosacea Full Capillary Treatment?
Capillary Reduction is ideal for treating a few isolated broken capillaries or cherry angiomas.
Rosacea Full Capillary Treatment is designed for clients with widespread redness and numerous visible capillaries associated with rosacea, allowing us to treat a much larger area during a single appointment.
